Event Security Officers

Security officers, whether overt or understated, are often the first point of contact with the public. They therefore become an integral part of your team. Red Badge recognise this. Our people, training, systems and philosophy are entirely about representing you in the best possible light.

Sale of Liquor Act Management

All staff are trained in the Sale of Liquor Act as well as strategies to identify and manage intoxicated persons. Our staff are frequently called upon to work with the caterers to control licensed areas.

We can work with your team to ensure:

  • Alcohol is not sold to intoxicated persons.
  • The general public are protected from personal harm from the actions of an intoxicated person.
  • Alcohol is not sold to minors.
  • Patrons are able to provide identification when unsure of their age.


Ushering

Our customer service face, these staff are selected for pro-activity and trained to ensure that they have the knowledge and attitude to make your customers day.
While their primary role is providing direction to patrons, our ushers are thoroughly aware of their surroundings and the behavioural and safety concerns of an event.


Customer Service and Information Staff

We can provide our customer focussed staff to man information points around the public areas. This serves to provide a friendly face for your event as well as a “go to” point for any security or safety concerns.


Ticket Sales and Cash Control

Ticketing_1.jpg Ticketing and Cash Control has become part of our event service at a number of venues. We have staff trained in all areas of ticketing and Cash Management and look after this aspect of a number of NZ’s largest shows. We also carry comprehensive insurance for this service, both on site and in transit.


Barrier and concert staff

DSCF0062_2.JPG Specially trained concert barrier staff and experienced supervisors. Training includes lifting techniques, spotting, hand signal communication. In addition to this our staff are trained in conflict resolution to ensure staff keep their head, as well as calming & restraint techniques for crowd control.                                                         

Overnight Security and Venue Patrols

bledisloe_042.jpg As the risks to property increase we are now frequently called upon to provide protection to the assets of events while these events are being assembled. Our security team can be deployed to organise your pack-in phase, protect the property overnight and control access when you are not there. This service can be supported with electronic surveillance and patrol monitoring if required.

Parking Services &Traffic Control

Traffic_Control.jpg We have a number of Traffic Control trained staff.  While we do not portray ourselves as a Traffic Control Company, we are able assist our clients in this area. This means that we can make communication easier for an Event Manager as we understand other aspects of event operation.


EVENT CONTROL ROOM STAFF

An ICP (Incident Control Point) is now an important component in the safety management of events. Our team have the necessary experience in dealing with Emergency services and Event Managers to co-ordinate this facility for you.


CCTV OPERATORS

Our CCTV operators would also work alongside the Operations Manager, and Police as required. He/she has the capability to liaise direct with supervisors and ground staff if needed to direct them during incidents.
We have developed process for the effective use of CCTV as an active and preventative management tool.


FIRE SAFETY OFFICERS

We have considerable experise regarding the safe operation of venues. We can provide appropriately trained fire safety personnel as part of our service. We ave been expsed to events including major event bomb threats and large venue fire evacuation, this experience has enabled us to develop our own training package that puts fire safety into an event management context.  We are able to incorporate these roles into your event staff requirements to ensure this operate in a seamless fashion.
