As you will be aware, it was confirmed by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) that Red Badge Group is considered an Essential Service. This means Business as usual, ensuring appropriate Health and Safety measures are in place such as PPE, good hygiene and social distancing.Our team are hard at work providing guards to our contracted clients and many new clients too. These include COVID-19 testing stations at many different locations across NZ, retirement villages nationwide, supermarkets and DHBs.
With all events being cancelled overnight we have redeployed our large, well trained event team to provide security services at many of these new locations. Thus ensuring we keep our remarkable team working.
Our business continuity plan has seen our management teams separate with some working from home. We are exploring new ways of working with on line collaboration and meetings. Whilst working remotely can be tricky, it hasn’t stopped our management team focusing on recruiting and training (via online and video training) to ensure that if our staff should fall sick, even just a cold or flu, we can continue to fill the needs of our clients across the country.
With the growth in our 24/7 security team across the country we have expanded the Red Operations Centre (ROC).
Located in our Auckland office the ROC operators are working through the night to ensure our team nationwide have available support at all times and welfare checks are conducted on every guard.
