We are looking for guards with past security (or a similar field) and leadership experience to join our front-line Security Team on-site at one of our central Auckland retail sites. With the opportunity to step up into leadership roles as well as work in other roles within the team. About Us:

About the role:

  • Providing high level customer service and building positive relationships with stakeholders at the site, including centre management, retailers, customers and other partners.
  • Assisting the office team with shift coverage
  • Patrolling the mall
  • Incident reporting and investigation
  • Monitoring and responding to threats
  • Maintaining records, daily and monthly reporting

About you:

  • Some security experience or a Green COA Security License is advantageous; however if not & you are the right person, we can help you obtain one if you are 18 years old or over, have a clean criminal record & eligible to work in NZ.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours and shift work – must be available at least one weekend day.
  • Able to take directives on board from Operations Managers
  • Strong communication skills to be able to interact and communicate with the client and take directives.
  • Must be professional, reliable, confident & honest
  • Possess the ability to engage & build relationships with a diverse range of people.
  • Possess a professional work ethic and desire to take responsibility
  • Strong focus on delivering high quality security-solutions and customer service
  • Excellent verbal & written English communication skills and attention to detail
  • Physical fitness – able to walk and stand for long periods of time
