Red Badge Group is proud to announce we have two finalists in the upcoming NZEA (New Zealand Events Association) awards.

Winners will be announced at the awards evening on 11th May 2020.
On Wednesday April 17 2019 in Christchurch, the New Zealand music industry came together to present a concert event ‘You Are Us/Aroha Nui’ to raise funds and donate all proceeds from ticket sales to the ‘Our People, Our City’ fund which was set up by the Christchurch Foundation helping those affected by the Christchurch terror attacks. The Red Badge Group nomination focussed on the leadership, innovation, training and strategy used to ensure this event was delivered to a world class standard. Failure was not an option as the eyes of not only NZ but the world were upon us, anything but a roaring success could have had direct consequences for the ongoing success of the NZ event industry as a whole.
It is safe to assume that our successful security meant that promotors and artists are still keen to visit NZ – look at the line-up in NZ this summer!
Red Badge Group is delighted to announce that our CEO Andy Gollings has been recognised as a finalist in this coveted category. With over 20 years in the event industry, Andy has worked his way from the ground up and now provides oversight to security planning of major events and relationship management to our contracted clients and oversight of the Red Badge Group business.
Andys nomination focussed on his leadership, innovation and contribution to the industry over the past 13 months. This included Andy’s work with other industry experts to develop a risk assessment toolkit for the events industry, rolled out as part of NZEA sessions across the country. It also outlined his commitment to sustainability for the business as a whole and his longstanding contribution and support of many stakeholders across the event industry.
